Just a normal girl with an abnormal number of questions.

I like glamour, history, humanity, strange coincidences, big ideas, beautiful things, ancient wisdom, modern absurdity, and the occasional existential crisis before breakfast.

Some people collect antiques.

I collect perspectives.

The Girl Who Aged began with a simple realization: the world changes constantly, but human beings remain wonderfully, hilariously, heartbreakingly familiar.

We fall in love. We form tribes. We build civilizations. We invent rules. We break the rules. We search for meaning. We argue about everything. We occasionally learn from history.

And then, naturally, we do it all over again.

So I started looking closer.

Through Four Perspectives, I explore the world through the Courts of Law, History, Conscience, and Humanity.

Think of them as four windows overlooking the same very peculiar planet.

Law asks what we decided the rules should be.

History asks how we got here.

Conscience asks what we believe is right.

Humanity asks what happens when real people actually have to live with all of the above.

Along the way, I follow Four Constellations that keep this little cosmic investigation pointed in the right direction:

Curiosity keeps us learning.

Delight keeps us laughing.

Compassion reminds us that ideas affect real people, animals, communities, and lives.

Renewal asks the most important question of all:

Now that we know something, what can we do with it?

This is also a place for global curiosity.

I’m fascinated by the beliefs, traditions, philosophies, stories, rituals, inventions, and cultural quirks humans have created across continents and centuries. Not because one worldview needs to defeat another, but because comparing perspectives can reveal something much more interesting:

How many different ways human beings have tried to answer the same questions.

Who are we?

Why are we here?

What do we owe one another?

Why does every civilization eventually develop bureaucracy?

And why, after several thousand years of recorded history, are we still arguing with strangers?

The editorial philosophy around here is simple:

Curiosity before certainty.
Understanding before outrage.
Compassion before judgment.

Facts matter.

Context matters.

People matter.

And occasionally, a perfectly timed joke matters too.

The Girl Who Aged isn’t here to tell you exactly what to think.

Quite the opposite.

This is a lifelong investigation into history, culture, law, spirituality, psychology, power, progress, and the endlessly surprising business of being human.

A little scholarly.

A little celestial.

A little ridiculous.

Always curious.

Because maybe growing wiser doesn’t mean having all the answers.

Maybe it means becoming more enchanted by the questions.
